The Gannets Nest restaurant, run by Newfoundlanders Martin and Gloria Foley, is situated at the turnoff to Cape St Mary's. They are fully licensed, and their restaurant offers visitors an opportunity enjoy locally caught seafood dishes, listen to island music and mingle with folks from the nearby towns of St. Brides and Branch.
Their menu features fresh caught seafood including cod, scallops, halibut, salmon, and seasonal crab and lobster, as well as traditional restaurant fare.
