Head out in the early morning in Placentia and walk the beaches or hillsides with your binoculars and expect to find a great variety of wildlife.
Returning back for a hot breakfast at Rosedale Manor, watch the many birds at the feeders or pond. You won't need your binoculars to see the many Blue Jays, Juncos, Cedar Waxwings, Nuthatches, Goldfinch, and other birds that regularly feed here. The local nesting Osprey is easily spotted diving for fish in the water directly in front of Rosedale.
A kayak trip with Sea and Rock Adventures will put you in close contact with seabirds as well as local eagle and osprey nests.
